So after the initial drawing I drew last week I found myself being flooded with ideas for other sketches, other pictures. They couldn't wait, I had to capture them straight away before they vanished in shadows of cross-hatching and smudged pencil! It got to the point where I found myself dragging myself out of bed at ungodly hours of the morning just to sketch out a rough plan of another scene for a drawing! I found myself simply not having the time to put them all down on paper at once and it makes me feel almost...guilty, perhaps is the word? ... But sometimes, I take a moment to scribble them out before they get soaked up into the memory layers of my brain.
Ainsi, après le dessin initial j'ai dessiné la semaine dernière, je me suis trouvé inondée avec des idées pour d'autres esquisses, d'autres croquis. Ils ne pouvaient pas attendre, je devais les saisir toute de suite avant qu'ils disparaissent dans les ombres! Il est arrivé au point où je me trouvais sortir du lit à des heures impies du matin pour esquisser un brouillon d'une autre scène pour un dessin! Je n'ai pas le temps de mettre toutes mes idées sur papier et je me sens presque... coupable. Peut-être c'est le mot... Mais parfois, je prends un moment pour les griffonner avant qu'ils sont absorbés dans les couches de memoire de mon cerveau.
