Whilst in Ubud, (Bali, Indonesia), Rachel and I met an American who was taking art lessons from an old Indonesian artist. We got invited to come and see his workshop where he paints and I was blown away by the tiny details, the vibrant colours and the way in which every inch of their paintings have a intricate, symbolic meaning !
